South Beach sux!
Has anyone been there recently? I've been there a couple times, enraptured, by what all the friends celebrity's, and the general hype surrounding this so-called enchanting place. They all say its "HOT". I dont think so. It hurts to know that it holds no allure for me. It's not a refuge, to party hard all nite. It basically sux!
Not to be even more "crass" but I feel its becoming a ghetto, for the hip-hop crowd, and that doesnt appeal to me at all. I need , when I go out, to hear certain types of music, not all the "side B'" of particular hiphop artists that I've hardly heard of. Doesnt even want to make you get drunk anymore, imagine that. When that happens, you know you're better off home in bed.
Give me the seven-mile stretch of Negril beach anyday and all the drunken nicities that come with it.

First off ... glad to see you've posted again after all this time!

They have a couple of cheap new studios in that area now so that is helping to attract hip-hoppers. They come from up north, cut their music, then hang out for a few extra weeks. Then of course that attracts the hip-hop wanna bees that just want to be around or associate with the artists,...and then.... there goes the neighbourhood.
